I am Derek Larsen.
Designer, Bay Area native living and working in San Francisco, CA. I currently lead design in Twitch's Community Org tackling complex problems and distilling them into delightful experiences. I ship multi-platform products that help our users and add value to our business.
With over 15 years experience I have led design at companies of various stages, from small startups with big dreams to large companies with lofty ambitions.
On weekends I’m usually MUNI surfing around SF listening to retrosynth jams, snapping photos with my camera, drinking green tea in my apartment, or finding inspiration for my designs.
